This 2.8-liter turbocharged inline-six diesel engine delivers strong low-end torque, making it perfectly suited for demanding environments, towing and off-road use. BG Turbo offers full restoration services for the Garrett GT1752S turbocharger fitted to Nissan Patrol and Safari RD28T engines. Each turbocharger is completely disassembled to allow thorough inspection of all components. Wear parts are replaced, reusable components are cleaned and measured, and all tolerances are verified according to manufacturer specifications.

The restoration process includes inspection or replacement of the CHRA, water-cooled bearing housing, turbine and compressor wheels, back plate, heat shield, gaskets and repair kit. The rotating assembly is precisely balanced to ensure reliability, smooth operation and long service life. Wastegate settings are adjusted either to original factory specifications or adapted to the selected performance configuration.

This stage provides a 7 to 12% increase in low-end torque and power while maintaining near-original turbo behavior and excellent reliability.

STAGE 2
Larger MFS Performance forged wheel + CNC machining of the compressor housing + high-speed balancing.
This stage delivers a 15 to 20% increase in low-end torque and power, significantly improving throttle response and drivability while remaining suitable for controlled road and off-road use.
